Medical Assistant Bilingual - Sharpstown (Job Overview)
Schedule: Monday-Thursday (10AM-6:30PM) and Friday (8AM-4:30PM)

Key Responsibilities
- Leverage digital tools to interview patients, gather medical information, and accurately measure vital signs.
- Utilize electronic records to document patient history, vital statistics, and test results.
- Innovate specimen collection techniques for efficient logging and testing preparation.
- Assist physicians with state-of-the-art instruments and perform modern procedures such as phlebotomy and medication administration.
- Employ agile methodologies to maintain and prepare treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
- Implement breakthrough sterilization techniques for instruments and manage biohazard waste efficiently.
- Provide virtual consultations to discuss test results and health concerns with patients.
- Ensure all specimens are labeled and tracked accurately for lab processing.
- Champion safety standards by participating in performance improvement programs and adhering to OSHA compliance.
- Utilize technology to maintain supply inventories and manage stock checks for expired items.
- Foster team synergy and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; advanced certifications in healthcare technology are a plus.
- Maintain up-to-date BLS/CPR certification.
- Experience in healthcare roles with a focus on digital tools and data integration preferred.
- Competency in using Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems.
- Strong ability to adapt to fast-paced, tech-driven environments and multitask effectively.
- Commitment to innovative preventive health care practices and collaborative team dynamics.
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish enhances community impact.
- Phlebotomy skills and a passion for continuous learning and applying new healthcare techniques.
